Benefits of living in a suburb
Sometimes, living in the ‘burbs can get a bad rap. Does it bring to mind lawn maintenance, boring evenings, and feuds with your neighbors? We get it!
But Raleigh’s suburbs are different, and here’s why. The City of Oaks recently made the list of “most neighborly” cities in the U.S.—and that culture doesn’t end at city limits. Across the board, Raleigh suburbs offer welcoming communities and easy access to one of the strongest economies in the country.
What are some other benefits of living in a suburb? Check it out:
-
More space
Suburbs typically offer larger homes and yards than cities. This can be a great benefit for households with children, pets, or anyone looking to spend more time outside. -
Safer neighborhoods
Suburbs tend to have lower crime rates than cities. -
Lower cost of living
Suburbs often have a lower cost of living than cities, including lower real estate prices.
Looking to get the best of both city and country living? Get city amenities with a little extra peace and quiet by buying a home in one of Raleigh’s satellite towns.
