My name is Shawn Wiseman

Shawn is a Raleigh native who grew up in North Ridge, North Raleigh, attending West Millbrook Middle School and Millbrook High School. With firsthand experience of the Triangle’s transformation since the late '80s and early '90s, he brings deep local insight to his role.

Early in his career, Shawn cut his teeth in the high-end hospitality industry, starting at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA. Customer relations, comfort, and luxury guest services quickly became his specialty. He later spent five years at The Mills House, another historic and upscale hotel in downtown Charleston, SC, where he honed his passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

Shawn launched his real estate career in 2003 with Beazer Homes, where he discovered his love and talent for new construction. His career then advanced when he was recruited by DR Horton as an Area Sales Manager, where he managed a team of 32 onsite agents from Raleigh through Greensboro and Winston-Salem during the real estate boom of 2005–2007. In his best year, Shawn and his team closed nearly 800 homes. He also gained valuable experience in commercial real estate, particularly in the restaurant and retail sectors.

High-energy and competitive, Shawn was a football and baseball player in high school and went on to play as the starting shortstop and team captain in college. These days, he remains active in the gym and on the golf course. As a Raleigh native, he is a go-to resource for the best restaurants and activities in the area, both long-standing favorites and exciting new spots.

Shawn is known for his friendly demeanor and his dedication to helping people achieve their dream of homeownership. Whether it’s a client’s first home or their tenth, he finds joy in making the process exciting and fulfilling. Shawn sees himself as more of a problem solver and educator than a salesperson, with over 20 years of real estate experience in the area. His extensive knowledge and strong connections make him an invaluable asset, and he is honored to be named a Founder of The Coley Group.
