Meet Charles Monteith

Charles is a Cinematographer and creative storyteller with a passion for bringing ideas to life through film. While studying Business Administration at the College Poole of Management at North Carolina State University, he launched a freelance videography business and worked in post-production with other professional agencies. Over the past several years, he has created content ranging from brand films, commercial work, to sports content, interviews, events, and documentary-style storytelling. He loves collaborating with others and finds fulfillment in bringing everyone’s vision to life.

He believes every successful project begins before pressing the record button. Whether it’s storyboarding scenes, writing scripts, or scouting locations, he enjoys every second of pre-production. His obsession with cinematography and lighting guides the viewer’s attention while strengthening the story. Charles’ distinct editing style of seamless transitions and immersive sound design speaks volume to his attention to detail.

In his personal time, Charles enjoys playing his favorite music on guitar, golf on the weekends, reading history books, and competing in online chess while having a cup of coffee in the morning.
