We’re looking for a strong social media and marketing content expert who can act as a creative lead. The role is to be a key player in reshaping our current marketing efforts. This role is for someone who brings ideas to the table, takes ownership, and can lead the social media and content execution for both The Best of Raleigh and Gretchen Coley’s personal brand. We’re looking for someone who can confidently direct, shoot, edit, and post high-performing content while collaborating closely with leadership to evolve the brand. But this role goes beyond just social media.

Compensation: Flexible base + commission incentives on partnership sales

We want a true content marketer—someone who thinks strategically, acts proactively, and understands how to build and scale a brand from the ground up. You’ll help support client and vendor communications, sell our Best of Raleigh brand to partners and take ownership of initiatives large and small. No task is beneath you, and you thrive in a fast-moving environment where creativity and execution go hand in hand.

You’ll have consistent access to talent, strong mentorship, and the chance to help scale a media-forward brand with visibility, momentum, and profitable upside. This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, hands-on, and ready to grow with a brand that’s doubling down on personal branding and meaningful client impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Film and edit short-form video content (IG Reels + TikTok)
  • Stay ahead of trends and pitch weekly content ideas
  • Post consistently and manage account growth
  • Facilitate Best of Raleigh administrative tasks to help move the brand forward and support our customers
  • Sells Best of Raleigh partnerships and brings in new businesses to the platform
  • Collaborate on strategy and execute with minimal direction
  • Be available weekly for in-person shoots around Raleigh

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook
  • Strong filming and editing skills (Capcut)
  • Creative eye for content that performs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership potential
  • A proactive and collaborative marketer
  • Portfolio showing past work and style
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience
