We are seeking three specialized interns to join our dynamic marketing department:
- Content Marketing Intern – For the storytellers and social-savvy creators who love capturing moments and building a strong online presence.
- Design Marketing Intern – For the design-minded individuals who excel at creating visually stunning materials that elevate a brand.
- Outreach Marketing Intern – For the detail-oriented and organized individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in event planning, client outreach, and lead generation.

Content Marketing Intern:
- Location: Raleigh, NC (In-Person)
- Type: Part-Time Internship (15-30hrs/week)
- Compensation: $10/hour or School Credit
- Duration: 12 Weeks
Join Raleigh’s top real estate team as the Content Marketing Intern, where your storytelling talent and eye for trends will help build our community-facing media presence. You will play a hands-on role in capturing and creating dynamic content to showcase our listings, team culture, and “Best of Raleigh” brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Social Media Manager in brainstorming and creating content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Film behind-the-scenes (BTS) content during office shoots, events, and CEO engagements.
- Assist in filming and editing Reels, Stories, and short-form video assets aligned with The Coley Group’s brand.
- Help agents record and edit listing videos, day-in-the-life content, and testimonials.
- Contribute 5+ new content ideas weekly to support strategy and growth.
- Monitor real estate and lifestyle trends on social media; pitch ideas that resonate with our audience.
- Maintain and organize the photo/video library within the shared drive for easy internal access.
Requirements:
- Comfortable operating a smartphone camera, gimbal, or DSLR (basic training available).
- Creative, confident communicator with an enthusiasm for digital storytelling.
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and Canva or CapCut preferred.
- Professional and approachable — you’ll represent The Coley Group brand in public and online.
- Organized with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent posting cadence.
Design Marketing Intern
- Location: Raleigh, NC (In-Person)
- Type: Part-Time Internship (15-30hrs/week)
- Compensation: $10/hour or School Credit
- Duration: 12 Weeks
The Design Marketing Intern will work on crafting elevated marketing materials that reflect The Coley Group’s brand. This is a design-heavy role ideal for a student with a background in graphic design, branding, or visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design flyers, open house signage, event invitations, and digital graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Update existing templates and maintain a consistent visual language across all print and digital collateral.
- Support content layout for social media, email newsletters, and “Best of Raleigh” storytelling campaigns.
- Prepare listing presentations, closing gifts, and branded materials for buyer appointments.
- Ensure all assets are stored, tagged, and searchable in the Marketing Drive folder.
- Support the team during special events with branded materials and signage setup.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Canva; Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail, layout, and brand consistency.
- Interest in real estate marketing, luxury branding, or storytelling through visuals.
- A design portfolio (academic or personal) demonstrating visual range and polish.
- Collaborative, open to feedback, and deadline-driven.
Outreach Marketing Intern
As the Outreach Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the Director of Client Experience, who leads our Inside Sales Department and oversees all client appreciation events. This role focuses on event marketing, direct mail campaigns, lead generation systems, and research to ensure seamless communication and engagement with clients, vendors, and prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with invitations, RSVP tracking, and marketing collateral for client appreciation events and real estate gatherings.
- Compile and maintain guest lists, vendor information, and client prospects, including accurate contact details.
- Conduct research to identify potential vendors, partners, and new client opportunities for upcoming events and marketing efforts.
- Coordinate and prepare circle prospecting mailers, postcards, and other direct mail campaigns.
- Help manage marketing efforts within our lead generation CRMs, ensuring all communications are aligned with ongoing campaigns.
- Support data entry, list management, and lead tracking to keep CRM systems organized and up-to-date.
- Assist in brainstorming creative event ideas and strategies to enhance client experience.
- Prepare and organize reports to track event success and marketing campaign performance.
Requirements:
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to support multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable with data gathering, research, and compiling contact information.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or willingness to learn (training will be provided).
- Interest in event planning, client relations, and real estate marketing.
- Reliable, proactive, and excited to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
